How your payment travels
Your payment is handled by trusted third-party providers over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Your full card number goes straight to the payment provider and never touches our systems, which are PCI compliant.
When you are charged
Payment is taken when you place your order; that is what confirms it. If a payment does not go through, the order is not placed and we will let you know.
Prices, plainly
Everything is priced and charged in US dollars (USD). The full amount, including any applicable taxes and fees, is shown before you complete your purchase, with nothing added later.
If a price is wrong
We check our prices carefully, but mistakes happen. If an item is listed at an obviously incorrect price and you have already ordered it, we will contact you before shipping and give you the choice: pay the corrected price, or cancel for a full refund. We will never simply charge you the difference, and we will never ship at the wrong price and bill you later. The same applies if a promotion is displayed in error.

Billing hiccups
Double-charged, or charged without a confirmed order? Email support@thehillsboutique.com. Pending authorizations that never complete are usually released by your bank within a few business days.
